the search engine has been improved many times, with major and minor updates. Every day, observing Google, we know very well how often subsequent updates to the search algorithm are implemented. 2003 – September – supplementary indicator
To get more documents into the index without sacrificing performance, Google has split some results in the index.

2005 – June – Personalized Search
The introduction of personalized search refers directly to, among other things, the search history of a given user to automatically adjust the results




2005 – December – Big Daddy
Technically, Big Daddy was an infrastructure update. Big Daddy changed the way Google started handling URLs , redirects (301/302), and other technical issues.

2007 – May – Universal Search
This wasn’t a typical Google algorithm update. Traditional search results were integrated with news, video, photos, local results dramatically changing their format.

2008 – August – Google Suggest
One of the major changes to the search engine home page. Google has introduced suggestions, displaying suggested searches based on keywords entered.
