The unhealthier, the tastier?

Post by arzina998 »

A very good and insightful article about this operation was written by Sara Dubbeldam, the vlogger behind Trendzucht . The title is 'The green mask of McDonald's' and makes it clear that no matter how well the operation was done, she does not believe the honest intentions of McD. It is about masking, not sincerely changing: it has to look good , it does not have to be good .

Waste
The interesting thing is that McDonald's is now also being attacked for its packaging. It contains harmful chemicals (so-called PFAS) that are more unhealthy than the food itself , according to the Cosmopolitan reporter. The bad aftertaste of the quick bite is therefore preceded by the enormous amount of waste that you throw away. That was already bad for the environment, it also seems not to be good for your own health. Let's see what the Dutch now have in mind when they think of McDonald's:

Wordcloud McDonald's
Word cloud about food.

When we look at McDonald's word cloud, it honduras mobile number surprises us that, besides the hamburgers, the quick bite and the tasty food, not a lot of FAKE is coming back. Because despite the whole operation to green, the sprucing up of the interior and the adjustment of the assortment, it remains unhealthy. We are very unhealthy, but we make it look good. And everyone knows that by now. We also know that smoking is unhealthy and that banks are run by crooks. And because everyone knows it, but we are also lazy and lazy, we have an interest in not thinking about it too much.

This is substantiated in the brilliant scientific study that goes by the title ' The Unhealthy = tasty intuition' . In four consecutive experiments, the authors find evidence for the following hypotheses: that the unhealthier one thinks the food is, the tastier one finds it, the more one enjoys it and the stronger the preference for this type of food. At least, if one does not only eat to satisfy hunger, but also to enjoy it. This applies both to people who indeed think that unhealthy food is tastier, and to people who do not think this.
