From the manager of a custom furniture store to the world of digital marketing
-- First, please introduce yourself and tell us about your current work.
Hongo: I work in the Marketing Department at Mynavi Works, where I'm involved in content marketing. My main mission is to attract more customers to our services, Mynavi Creator and Mynavi Career, online.
Ohira: I am in charge of customer success for "Mielca SEO", a content marketing and SEO tool. I mainly support those who have introduced the tool, including Mynavi Works.
How did you both end up joining your current company?
Ohira: After graduating from university, I worked in the apparel industry for about two years, then moved to a custom-made furniture store. I experienced everything from designing the furniture to transporting it to the delivery destination, and was the store manager for the last year.
Hongo: Oh really! That's a completely different job than what I have now.
Ohira: That's right (laughs). At the time, as a store manager, I had to think about attracting customers, but I was only doing offline measures such as flyers and inserts. I thought I needed to attract France telegram customers digitally from now on, but there was no one around me who had the knowledge. So I decided to jump into a company that attracts customers digitally, and I changed jobs to my current company. My parents are originally in the retail business, so I also wanted to give back to the family business.
Hongo: After graduating from university, I got a job at an asset management company, where I was involved in corporate and individual sales, stock market research, and so on. I wanted to help people who were worried about the future through long-term asset formation... but I met many people who said, "The present is harder than the future." From there, I decided to work in the human resources industry, "for people who have something they want to do now," and changed jobs to Mynavi Works.
