With the featured snippet, Google wants to serve us information in the most natural way possible; information that is direct and served in an attractive plate with a square frame.
For a better understanding of all this, I give an example:
You need to know the year in which the Civil Guard was founded and you ask the search engine as if you were talking face to face with Google.
This is what appears:
What is a featured snippet - Civil Guard example
As you can see, it gives us a list of phone number in philippines direct answer, without having to go into the article.
Google perfectly understood the context of the question “when was the Civil Guard founded” and offered you the best possible answer from among the thousands of options available on the Internet.

What if the user finds an error in this answer?
Well, you have the option to suggest edits by clicking on "Give us your opinion" in the lower-right corner of the box.
And this is what would appear:
Featured Snippet - Suggestions for corrections
Google gives you the option to edit a possible answer and give your opinion on it.
And how can I get featured in these types of answers?
Although Google doesn't offer us an answer to how to appear in Featured Snippets, it is simpler than it may seem.
What Google is clear about is that it wants to improve our user experience and, to do so, it is immersed in artificial intelligence to go one step further than more traditional search results.
