How to improve metrics

Improving performance is a complex process, it is difficult to single out a separate strategy for the growth of each of the metrics we have listed. They are intertwined, and working with one inevitably affects many others.

The metrics to focus on depend on the industry, management goals, and business development stage. For example, a young retailer will primarily need to create a stable customer base and increase the average check. The focus will be on RR, NPS, and AOV. A major market player may already be focusing on increasing LTV and reducing CR.

The metrics are closely related to each other. For example, increasing the Retention Rate directly leads to a decrease in the Churn Rate, which in turn increases LTV. And conducting a timely NPS survey allows you to keep your finger on the pulse and quickly make adjustments.

I would also add the Contactability metric, which helps assess the company's ability to effectively contact customers and potential customers through various communication channels. Contactability is important for optimizing communications and identifying the most effective channel for working with the customer base.

Below we provide universal marketing tools that will help keep your project on track and improve the overall effectiveness of your campaigns:

1. Trigger mailings — automatic messages that a brand sends in response to certain actions (or, conversely, inaction) of the user. Triggers increase engagement and stimulate repeated interaction between the audience and the brand.
2. Omnichannel — interacting with customers through several different communication channels: email, SMS, chatbots in messengers, push notifications in the application and on the website. This ensures more complete coverage and allows customers to choose the appropriate notification method.
3. Cascade communications — sending a message through multiple channels. This allows you to send messages through alternative channels if the initial ones remain unanswered, thereby increasing the chances of interaction.
