Usually, these strengths and weaknesses are INTERNAL FACTORS to the business that we can control. Opportunities and threats are EXTERNAL FACTORS that we cannot control.

To be more clear, it is like this:

Strengths: positive internal factors for an organization, or a situation, that are within your control.
Weaknessess: also an internal factor that is under your control, which at the same time hinders your ability to achieve the set objectives.
Opportunities: external factors that the organization needs to improve.
Threats: external factors that are not under your control, which can put your project or organization at high risk.

How to Control SWOT Analysis

After completing the BRAINSTORMING , create a draft of meeting minutes specifically designed for the SWOT analysis . List them in order of importance, from those that need the most attention, to those that you can probably ignore for the time being.
