What measures do companies most often take? In order not to go under and somehow survive the economic downturn, they begin to diligently cut expenses, mainly on advertising and marketing, which ultimately comes back to haunt them.

A general economic downturn is the best time to introduce new products to the market. Consumer demand for them will certainly appear because many companies will suspend their operations at this time.
Thoughtful marketing and advertising are essential during a crisis. It reassures customers that you are still standing and can continue to do business with you.
