It should be noted, however, that Hulu is a platform whose activities and audience are concentrated in the United States only, and that its main service is funded by advertising. So, for now at least, Hulu is not operating in the same sphere as Netflix and Amazon. However, following Disney's recent acquisition of the platform , Hulu is expected to see significant growth over the next five years, which should bring Hulu closer to its biggest competitors.
