Step 5: Keyword Research
Site content analysis is not complete without keyword research. This can be done using any keyword planner, such as the Google tool. Follow the algorithm:
In the planner, select “Get query statistics for a list of keys or group ads.”
Paste the existing list of keys (you got it in the at&t email list fourth step) and click on the button "Find out the number of requests". Note that the planner field allows no more than 1000 keywords, but if you use the CSV format, the number can be increased to 3000.
Insert all the words into the plan and upload it.
The planner will help you get key phrases, number of requests and data on competition. Webmaster tools have provided you with information on web pages, positions, number of views and CTR by keywords. Now enter all the indicators you have into an Excel table.
This data can be used to create a key map for the most important pages of the site. To do this correctly, independently analyze the content of any page of the site, checking the compliance with search engine queries and the level of publications. After that, you formulate recommendations for working with content and enter them into the table.

Step 7. Identifying the content that is missing from the site
This step is not included in the scenario under consideration because we are working with a large site and are considering the need to improve content and remove outdated materials. But, working with keywords, you will most likely get additional important keys that affect the ranking of several of your pages.
These keys need to be entered into a table in order to then create content that meets search engine queries.
Step 8. Analysis of additional page characteristics
When you analyzed your site content using URL Profiler, you gained information that you can use to evaluate the effectiveness of your pages and choose tactics for further action. Keep an eye out for the following:
High-risk pages require increased attention. We recommend working on them: update the content, delete pages with materials that have been stolen or are not popular with visitors;
Explore the most popular and unpopular pages . We recommend working on improving publications on pages that receive a lot of traffic but show unsatisfactory metrics. In addition, it is advisable to get rid of pages that do not bring traffic and are not interesting to users;
CMS pages should not save site search results. If this happens, they should be removed.
Stage 9. Preparing recommendations for working with the site
The table in which you entered the results of the site content analysis is almost ready. All that remains is to enter the recommendations prepared after the data analysis. Make a report on the audit, reflecting in it the general impressions, strategy and tactics of further work with the resource materials.
