What is a corporate influencer, what is a brand ambassador - and what does that have to do with influencer marketing? The terms have the potential to be confused. Employee influencers have little to do with the influencer as an advertising face who rents out his reach to various companies. But externally purchased advertising faces, such as celebrities, and even freelance promoters are also often referred to as brand ambassadors. In this article, however, we are referring to brand ambassadors/corporate influencers from the company.

A brand ambassador or corporate influencer is a person, a recognizable face, who represents a company and represents its values ​​and messages to the outside world - in physical encounters, but also in digital media, on Facebook, Instagram or in a corporate blog. I use the two terms synonymously and therefore alternate between them.
