1. Method for generating ideas: ABC method
The ABC method is usually recommended or described for use in teams. However, I also like to use it in a slightly modified form on my own. I proceed as follows:
Let's say I'm looking for new and unusual ideas for selling points for a product or service. If I want to generate a lot of ideas, I use this classic method: I take a sheet of paper and write the letters A to Z one under the other on the left-hand side. Then I try to find a special product benefit for each letter. Don't block yourself here! You don't have to go from A to Z. If the first benefit that comes to mind is one that starts with R, for example, that's great!
