WordPress.com and WordPress.org – two unequal twins

Many people are not aware of the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, but it is a significant one.

While WordPress.com is a ready-made blog solution that requires (almost) no prior knowledge, on WordPress.org you will find the WordPress software, which you must install on your own server (space) before it works.

Ready-made blog and homepage solutions have been very popular for many years. In addition to WordPress.com, there are also Jimdo, Wix and solutions cayman islands telegram screening from providers such as IONOS or Strato.

Advantages of
In my opinion, these kits and WordPress.com have their place: for hobby projects! If you want to quickly and easily put together a website to inform the family about a trip, to show off the cute little kittens that have recently moved into the house, or to share knowledge about a shared hobby with friends - great!

Nobody has to learn how to use it, everything works automatically, nobody has to worry about data backups or updates - and all of this is completely free! It's not bad for educational purposes either (how do you blog?) - although the backend (the administration interface in the background) of WordPress.org is becoming more and more different from that in a WordPress.org installation. It used to be almost identical, but unfortunately it looks quite different now.
