You can then look again to see how many articles have been reported in total for the current year (newly reported and from previous years). To do this, select “METIS (regular distribution)” and “Search in own counters” on the left. In the form, select the option “yes” under “Notification is made:”. Under “Minimum access” you check the boxes “proportional” and “achieved”. Now all tracking pixels that have been reported so far are listed. This includes those that were reported at some point in previous years but did not reach the minimum access in 2020.
You can see this clearly on the right-hand side, where philippine mobile number there are columns for 2018, 2019 and 2020. We are only interested in column 2020. Therefore, I set it to display 500 tracking pixels per page and then selected them all, copied them and pasted them into an empty table in Excel. There I sorted this list by the 2020 column and was able to determine how many articles reached the minimum number of hits in 2020 and what I am likely to get in payout. Since the remuneration has not yet been determined,
I assumed the 40 euros that were paid per article last year and multiplied this amount by the number of articles that reached the minimum number of views in 2020. This projection has always worked quite well in recent years. This display within the VG Wort page is not yet perfect, but at least it has become a little more transparent and you can find out more precisely which articles have achieved the minimum number of hits in a year. A few years ago, for example, you couldn't see how many and which of the old, previously reported articles had reached the minimum access level again.
