visitor numbers, Google position, affiliate income… In this article I take a closer look at the different aspects of my microphone and podcast website. I look at the development of visitor numbers and what impact the Google rankings have had on this. But the income from affiliate marketing is of course also part of my analysis, whereby VG Wort also plays a role here. content But first I'll look at the content of my niche website, as this is the most important basis for further development and success.
As I wrote above, I chose a topic for the niche site example of taiwan phone number challenge that really interested me and that I wanted to write about in the long term. 66 articles have now appeared on this website, which is decent, but can't compete with a real blog. That's 22 more articles than in the last report just over a year ago. Compared to abenteuer-brettspiele.de, for example, where around 130 articles are published per year, that's of course relatively few. Nevertheless, I'm quite happy with it, but for 2021 I'd rather aim for one article every 2 weeks, so a good 28 new posts. On the one hand, I have published more articles about podcasting itself, covering topics such as costs, workflow and hosting.
But I have also written a few question articles (and of course my answers to them) because, in my experience, these are very well received. And since I also gained a lot of new experiences with my podcasts during this time, there were also a few articles about it. For example, I described my experiences about whether it is worth advertising in podcast apps to get more subscribers. All in all, I'm very happy with the articles that have been published, but the number of drafts in my WordPress backend has also increased significantly, so there are still plenty of ideas for new articles.
