Corporate culture and software are the foundation for data-driven decisions. Business intelligence software enables data-driven decision making, but it is not the first step in data-driven decision making. The first step is cultural: if the corporate culture is not data-driven, business intelligence tools are useless. These are 3 tips from Gartner analyst Alan Duncan to move to data-driven thinking (full research available to Gartner clients):

Tips for SMEs:
When someone makes a suggestion, ask for the data behind it, reward successful data-driven thinking, and lead by example.
Know what decisions you want to make before you jump into data-driven decision making: First, know the business problems you want to solve or the business processes you want to improve. Then look for the data that will help you solve those problems or improve those processes. Data-driven decision making is a way of thinking and acting, not a replacement for either.
Hire data-driven employees : When hiring, look for people who are comfortable brazil telegram data working with data and Excel or who are already familiar with business intelligence software.
3. Trend: Security is becoming increasingly important
The number of cyber attacks is increasing massively. German companies are a popular target for cyber attacks, with medium-sized companies in particular being seen as easy prey. While large corporations are better equipped to deal with attacks and can recover from damage more quickly, medium-sized companies often lack the necessary resources and are hard-pressed to cope with attacks. Companies run the risk of losing the trust of their customers, confidential documents, ideas and patents due to data theft.
