First of all, attributes are what define the variations. These are the different styles like color, pattern, etc. You can also sort by these attributes within WooCommerce. But they are just informative and don't have any functionality.

Variations, on the other hand, implement attributes through variable products and allow users to purchase items of a certain attribute. Variations also encompass different combinations of these attributes, which hong kong whatsapp number data can create independent product options.

For example, let's say you have color and logo attributes for a product. In that case, they can be combined into different variations, i.e. a hat with a blue dolphin logo, a hat with a green salamander logo, etc.

The issue here is that a customer can select variations before purchasing as part of the conversion process , whereas attributes cannot.

However, it would be helpful if you had the attributes set before setting any variations. But before you run away in confusion, don't worry: the process is pretty straightforward.
