Climate and weather in Finland

The climate in Finland is colder than in many other countries. However, the weather varies considerably depending on the season. Finland has a very rich nature and you can enjoy and explore it in any season. From November to March, the temperature is at its lowest and this is felt all over the country. The summer period is from June to August and the warmest month is often rcs data July. In the south of Finland , the average summer temperature is around 20 °C, while in the north it is around 15 °C.


When to go to Finland?
The best time to visit Finland is usually in the summer, in June, July and August. During this season, the climate is warmer, the days are longer and the landscapes in bloom are more beautiful. This is also the time when tourist facilities and transport services are in full swing. But there is no denying that winter has something magical about it, as long as you don't mind the cold.


Clothes to take
Travelling in Finland can be daunting when it comes to what to pack. The seasons vary drastically and the weather can be extremely unpredictable at times. Consider bringing summer clothes, but also warm clothes in case the temperature drops sharply. This will help you cope with the cold nights during your stay. Also, don’t forget hiking clothes and shoes and sunscreen even if the sun is not yet at its peak.
