Marketing as a couple – the new trend in blogs to make money online

Lately I see many blogs about making money online represented by couples. We could even talk about a new trend according to my recent observations.

I don’t know if I’m the only one who has noticed, but lately I’ve been seeing Twitter profiles with couples everywhere. They tend to use nicknames like @anaypedro, @josemiguelymaria, @cristiymanu, etc. and use a photo where they both appear (typically with a sea, beach or some kind of water in the background). Curiously, 99% of them have blogs that all deal with the same topic: internet marketing . The vast majority tend to use phrases like “we are a couple of internet marketers .” I don’t want to give a specific example so that no one feels offended later. That’s not the point of this post.

It is not about pointing the finger at anyone saying that what one or the other offers is worthless. I do not allow myself to judge anyone and I am not going to start doing so now. I have realized that practically all the couples have something in common. Apart from dealing with the theme of “making money online” they usually have a Latin American japan telephone number style when it comes to promoting their products and services. I am surprised to see so many parallels between these couples that it almost makes you think that there could be someone or something behind them that has invented all these characters. I am also not a fan of conspiracy theories so let us assume for a moment that they are real.
Apart from the American style of selling, which I am not a big fan of (but you know that tastes are different, well, it goes without saying) I think that there can be many advantages to doing this type of marketing as a couple.
You connect with your target audience in a different way . Many people have a partner, so they can identify with them better. You can generate a desire to achieve the happiness conveyed by characters who have achieved financial independence (if we trust what they say). One effect that is sought is “look, they are also a normal couple” and they have achieved it.
Identifying with the couple is key to making marketing work . One of the secret weapons they use on the blog is storytelling . The personal story of both being unemployed, living at home with their parents and having lived through very difficult times is a common denominator for many couples. In the times of crisis we are experiencing right now, it is easy for many people to identify with suffering a very similar situation.
