So what kind of account should you open?

Post by monira444 »

You can invest money for a certain period or indefinitely. In the first case, the deposit is called fixed-term, in the second - on demand.

Fixed-term programs can be short-term or long-term. For example, in Bank Sinara you can invest money for 30, 90, 180 days, 1, 2 or 3 years. As a rule, the longer the term of placement of funds, the more profitable. But if you withdraw money early, you can lose interest income. Therefore, fixed-term deposits are suitable for those depositors who are ready to put the amount into the account and “forget” about it for several months or years.

Demand deposits are investments for an unlimited period. Such programs are convenient because there are no strict limits: the money can be withdrawn at any time. But the rates on them are usually lower than on fixed-term deposits.

By currency
You can keep your savings in rubles or foreign iceland mobile database currency - dollars, euros. Currently, the yield on ruble programs is higher than on currency ones, but in the long term, investments in currency can also be profitable.

Financial consultants recommend keeping money in the "target currency", that is, in the one you will need after the deposit term expires. For example, if you are saving for building a summer house in the Moscow region, then a ruble account will do, and if for travel or real estate abroad, then a foreign currency account will do.

By sum
Cash deposits have a lower investment limit: to open an account, you need to deposit a minimum amount. For example, Bank Sinara offers programs with a minimum limit of 1,000 ₽, 10,000 ₽ and $300.

There is usually an upper limit as well: some programs have a limit of 500,000 ₽, while others allow you to invest up to 100,000,000 ₽. But the maximum amount is not a mandatory parameter.
