Publishing a bad post may seem like a stupid thing to do. There may be good reasons for occasionally publishing a post even if you are not happy with the result.

“No, man. That gives a very bad image.” That will be the reaction of the vast majority of people who read the title of this post. It is very likely that at the beginning they thought the same way or very similar. In fact, it is one of the main fears of the beginning blogger and some people have it forever.

Actually, my case is no different. Every time I publish, I am afraid that I have made a mistake and I fear criticism as if it were my first post.

Why I dare to publish a bad post
Quantity or quality? Honestly, I'm a little tired of the japanese email address list debate about frequency of blog posts. I'm going to paraphrase Berto Lopez to give my point of view. You have to write with the frequency that allows you to achieve your goals. This can be one post a day, a week or a month and that's it. I write every day. I don't intend to be awarded a Pulitzer Prize for every post I publish. In fact, it's practically impossible to achieve with a post written in less than 1 hour, as is usually my case.
I don't always write for the reader
Most people write for readers. I do too, but not always. Many of the posts are for myself. They are a kind of reminder. They motivate me. They remind me of what is really important in life when someone is kicking me to stop me from getting up. It is where I get strength and energy to keep going. They are kind of motivational post-its. Sometimes I write for my mother, my mom, a friend or someone else. I don't care if the post is bad or good. I don't care.
Bad post is sometimes good
The time invested in an article is not proportional to the quality of the content . I have had many surprises with posts that did not convince me too much but that in the end the reader liked a lot. You cannot be a judge and a writer at the same time. You have to leave that task and responsibility to the people who read you. And yes, this means that from time to time you will be criticized (or not) because it really is a bad post.
