Launching and succeeding with just one blog is already a challenge. Today I want to talk about the possibility of doing this even with 3-5 blogs.

A couple of months ago I wrote about my idea to launch a second blog, but in German. Those who remember it may be surprised by one of the conclusions I made: focus is an essential element for a successful blog.

I haven't changed my mind since then, but I have changed my perspective. In life, not everything is black and white , there are many shades of grey, and if you start looking for shades of blue, green, red, purple, etc. I'm talking about a blog portfolio and not a network, because they are two different concepts. This deserves a separate entry.

Why running multiple blogs at once can make sense
For each argument you will find x different ones that go against japanese phone numbers a point of view. Although I have focused on this blog for a long time, I have started to diversify my risk by investing in new projects. All or nothing has never been a good strategy to be successful in the long term.

Diversifying risk : launching a blog and hoping to earn some extra money or even make a living from it one day is a project that, like any other, involves risks. Betting only on one blog can lead to it not being the right one. By diversifying, you can increase your chances of hitting the nail on the head with a project.
Bet on a niche : whenever you have a golden goose or a project that is already mature, you can start betting on topics that today do not have much relevance in a national market but that are already more popular internationally. Once this trend reaches your area, you will be the most advanced in the subject.
Staying motivated : It's hard to always stay motivated. If you have the chance to move around several blogs with different themes, you have more variety, which for many of us helps keep the flame of excitement alive. For the geeks among us, launching a new blog is like falling in love. Ok, it's not 100% the same, but you invest a lot of passion in both cases.
