Why someone unsubscribes from your blog

The hardest thing about blogging is getting new subscribers. It's no wonder bloggers get in a bad mood when they see someone unsubscribe.

Just today I was exchanging emails with a blogger who had a very bad day. I understood him perfectly because something had happened to him that would have annoyed any person with a blog: unsubscribers from his list. In his case, there were several unsubscribers in a period of 24 hours.

If a reader decides not to receive your new content anymore, it's like something you take personally. Suddenly, many doubts arise. What have I done wrong? Why doesn't he/she like me anymore? Will job seeker number she come back? I confess that my little heart also hurts me every time someone unsubscribes. With time, you get better at it, but it always affects you a little. In the end, you have to put yourself in the shoes of the reader who unsubscribes to understand his/her reasons:

A couple of months ago I received an email from a reader telling me that he had unsubscribed. He told me that he had changed jobs and that I didn't have to worry since he was going to sign up with his new email shortly. Some people sign up with their company email and sometimes forget about it when they move on. The interest may be related to their job and they want to stay up to date on the sector. When a change occurs, it may no longer make sense to subscribe and they unsubscribe, especially if they have been using their personal email.
Increase blogger posting frequency
I think this is one of the main reasons for subscribers to drop out of this blog. I have a daily update of new content that can overwhelm the subscriber. Every week 3-5 readers decide to stop receiving my new posts every day. In my case, I accept these drops as something inevitable because you can't please everyone all the time. I make up for it by having about 100 subscribers every week thanks to the daily post.
