There are a number of factors that influence the level of coverage a new blog post gets. The time of publication is one of them, and it can vary depending on the channel you're using. Some points are less relevant when your blog's follower base is still relatively low.

The Prime Time Blog

Best days of the week: If you don't post daily on your blog, it's journalist emails mportant to keep in mind that you won't get the same amount of views on your blog depending on the day of the week. There's a significant difference between weekdays and weekends. Saturday is by far the worst day to post. The best days are Tuesday and Wednesday.

The time of day you post on your blog: Within the 24 hours of each day, there are also important differences depending on the time of day. If your blog is still small and has only a few RSS subscribers, the time of day is not as important. Once you have some followers on your feed, publishing a post at 11 pm can be a good time if you are dealing with a leisure topic. This is when many of your readers are usually in front of the TV, with their mobile or tablet in hand. With a business blog, you can also experiment with publishing at 11 am.

Posting your tweet on Twitter: More important than the time of posting is the time of posting your post on Twitter. The higher the number of your followers, the greater the potential impact and coverage. The best time to post a tweet with your article is at 11am or at night. In my case, 11pm even works better for me. There is no problem with posting at both times since you will never gather all your followers at the same time. You don't run much of a risk of duplicating. To avoid it being perceived as a repeated tweet, you can slightly vary the title of the post.
