Factor 5. Your state of mind

The reason we make these kinds of sales mistakes is because we believe our thoughts about our self-worth (which we have accidentally tied to our goals). We see our thoughts very much as truth.
When you think something, you always have two options: believe the thought and act on it or don’t take your thoughts so seriously. If you think “if I ask for the sale now, they might not like me” and believe it, then that will stop you from asking for the sale. But you are also denying that potential customer the chance to be helped by you. Just because you have the thought that someone else might not like you.
You can also not take your thoughts so seriously and still take the step to ask someone for the purchase. And yes, sometimes they say "no", but they also say "yes". And every time someone says "yes", you have the chance to help someone further.
In short: the most common sales mistakes are very much related to believing what you think. By doing that and acting accordingly, you can really get in your own way. And that is not necessary at all
The state of mind you have as an entrepreneur is a factor with a great influence on the health of your company. It has an influence on the actions you roll out, on the flow you experience, on the steps you take, on the doubts you have and on the stress you experience… and so on.
Traveling is about emotion and experiences. Many bloggers and vloggers play into this cleverly. They create credible, real content about their travels and adventures. In recent years, their hospital mailing list influence has increased rapidly and these content creators have been given the beautiful label 'online influencer'. This has made them an important part of the marketing mix. But: what is happening internally in the influencer spheres? What trends can be discovered in this area?
During the Storymakers event of Cherrylab in Amsterdam, a lot of bloggers, vloggers, photographers, initiators and brands passed by, but above all people with a passion for traveling. In a short seminar, the most important trends for influencers were discussed. Do you want to get started with influencers in a practical way? Then read this article by Josien.
1. A clear drive
Reach is no longer the most important criterion, engagement has taken over this position. It is all about impact, relevance and purpose . The most famous influencers have a clear goal, a drive that others can identify with. Making the world more sustainable, being friendlier or really learning to enjoy life by, for example, driving around in a camper – the goals vary a lot. And, the best part of this: in recent times this has become increasingly honest. It is no longer the big 'What a great life I have' show, there is room for vulnerability. The influencers dare to admit their weaknesses and that makes them more human than ever.
