3 suspects arrested: Weapons and ammunition were disposed of in a refrigerator

Gun in the freezer: In a targeted operation by the Israel Police last night in East Jerusalem, weapons and ammunition were found that had been disposed of in a home refrigerator. Police arrested three suspects.
As part of the ongoing fight against illegal possession of remove background image weapons and weapons of mass destruction, last night, Jerusalem District police officers, with the assistance of a police dog and Border Police officers, searched several homes in the Ras al-Amud neighborhood in East Jerusalem, following a violent incident that occurred between family members.
During the search conducted by Shalem police station, Jerusalem Police Department teams, and other forces, a discarded gun was found in a freezer in one of the houses, along with illegally held ammunition.
As a result, 3 suspects in their 30s were arrested and taken to the police for questioning.
The Israel Police will continue a determined and uncompromising fight against illegal weapons and weapons offenses, and against those who possess and use them illegally.
