JeFile is a mobile application developed by FWA, a young French company founded in 2005. This company specializes in the development of innovative IT solutions that respond to specific business issues.
The application completely revolutionizes the way supermarkets think about the checkout. Instead of a physical queue, the one we like so little, JeFile proposes the implementation of a virtual queue.
In concrete terms, the customer uses the app to put himself in an electronic queue. The latter then indicates that it is his turn to go through when he has less than 10 minutes left to wait. c level contact list
In less than 5 minutes, he receives a notification telling him that it is his turn; this tells him the number of the cash register to go to.
The ritual of going through the checkout is in reality not favourable (apart from the financial aspect) either to the customer or to the supermarket:
For the customer, waiting is boring and can be frustrating or annoying.
for the supermarket, waiting delivers a bad customer experience,
but also harsher working conditions for employees at the checkout because there is more noise, less pleasant customers, etc.
This new principle of checkout is therefore favorable to both parties:
the customer is more inclined to go shopping, and does so in a more pleasant way
the company increases its turnover, improves its customer experience and makes the work of its employees easier.
Better still, the supermarket gains doubly because the time the customer spent waiting is now spent wandering around the store.
