Continuing with the conversation started in the previous article about the practical side of web analytics, let's talk in this regard about business goals and ways to achieve them, as well as adjusting these goals.

For any business, the final path is always money, but you should not confuse the final goal, which is a priori for all businesses, and those business goals that we achieve on the Internet. When a contractor tells you, south korea consumer email list "I will increase your sales", "I will improve your sales funnel", "we are building a sales funnel via the Internet", this is great. But do not forget about other business goals that can and should also be achieved with the help of Internet marketing. In the end, something was sold, some piece was closed, but at the same time we see that this business does not solve many other problems via the Internet, despite the fact that some amount of something was sold via the Internet using contextual advertising and a landing page.

Thus, in order to build a full-fledged version of Internet marketing, not only for sales, but also for other business goals, we need business analytics, web analytics and business automation.

If we don't have some component of the equation, we automatically fall into pseudo-dimension. That is, we either don't see some part of the business, or we don't see part of some Internet, or we can't automatically download and compare all of this. In this case, we start to assume what would be effective, what the approximate coverage is, etc., but this does not always correspond to reality. We must always remember that the technical capabilities of the analytics system should not delight or mislead you: you can build many tables, but how it actually works, what data is actually collected, and which of these data are really suitable for you, this is a big question that requires specific clarification. Business goals should determine the setup and choice of web analytics systems.
