Yandex Market offers a block of weekly promotions and a significant discount on the placement commission. And, of course, a reduction in the cost of goods.

For our Clients' products, when participating in such a promotion, the discount on the commission was advantageous, which made it possible to set the price that the marketplace offered.

How we do it: if the promotion lasts 7 days, then we participate for 3 days and not for 4. Due to this, we manage to maintain the median price.

At the same time, we adjust traffic volumes using promotions and sales boost rates, but this has almost no effect on the number of impressions.

As we have already noted, promotions provide additional traffic, raise products in the search results, but there is a downside: it is not always possible to get into them by fitting into the unit economy.
