The Red Thread
We all know it: the common thread.
But how do you create it?
And how can you keep the thread going from beginning to end?
I have a simple and effective method for this:
Write the headline first.
The headline is just one thing: a promise to the reader.
The headline gives you a framework so that your article does not expand in all directions.
And at the same time, it also provides the common thread: All you have to do in your article is fulfill the promise in the headline.
