Now I have given you all sorts of famous examples and I still owe you proof that it also works for “normal” people like you and me.
(Although I doubt that bloggers are normal. No normal person would spend years building something they are not paid for...)
My very first product was an e-book called “Simply Write Better.” After that, I developed the Guest Blogging course (which I no longer actively market), then the Headlines Handbook .
This was followed by the digital cameroon telegram screening writing school called Schreibclan , which is now a comprehensive blogging university.
This was followed by the “ Hack Google Course ” and since Sunday my new course “ Blog Yourself Rich ” has been available .
Why am I telling you this?
With each product I earned more than with the previous one.
And each new product has made it easier to sell my previous products and services.
I started with pennies. Now I have months where I make five figures. If I had stopped blogging after two years, I would have stuck with pennies.
I would probably have sent everyone to hell and written a blog post full of frustration with the following headline: “Blogging doesn’t work!”.
