Howdy, Moz fans, and welcome to another edition of Whiteboard Friday. This week we're talking about YouTube SEO. So I was lucky enough to be speaking at the Search Love conference in San Diego a little while ago, and Justin Briggs was there presenting on YouTube SEO and a very large-scale study that he did, I think it was looking at the ranking of 100,000 different videos in YouTube's search engine, as well as the performance of thousands of channels and individual videos on YouTube.

I call him @justinrbriggs on Twitter here, and his website is Briggsby.com. You can find the study , including a huge amount of data, there. But I thought I would try and summarize some of the key points he raised and some of the conclusions he reached in his research. I urge you to check out the full study, especially if you’re doing YouTube SEO.
