Automatic email distribution is a lazy marketer's best friend

Post by gafimiv406 »

You've probably heard about email newsletters that run on autopilot and make you money while you sleep . Yes, I didn't believe in it either. Until I set up one myself. And then it was time to be surprised.

When we decided to launch an automatic mailing for our largest project in the spring of 2017, no one expected to get any tangible results from it. We just wanted to know that we were using all the main promotion methods, and that we were doing everything like everyone else.

I started the automated mailings myself and I am still fully responsible for them. A week after the launch, I was slightly shocked that they started bringing in good money. Another week later, they entered the top 10 of our most effective channels , and after another, they firmly established themselves in this list in 5th place, second only to branded algeria number data search traffic, PPC, direct traffic and regular (non-automated) mailings. Months and even years have passed since then, and in terms of revenue, they still do not fall below the sixth line.

Today I'll tell you how you can do the same.

But first, let's sort out the terms. What I just called an automatic email newsletter is called an autoresponder , a follow-up series , or simply follow-ups in English . I couldn't find any decent equivalents in Russian. In our language, "autoresponder" usually means individual messages or responses to emails. "Automatic email newsletter" also doesn't quite capture the essence, because the word "newsletter" still implies a massive simultaneous sending of emails, while in our case they are sent to recipients pointwise, at certain intervals, to each person at their own time. It seems that all I can do is transliterate the English term follow-up, although the word " followup " looks strange in Russian.

So, what is an automated email newsletter or follow-ups? It is a logically built chain of email messages that is sent to your recipients in a sequence that you set up yourself. The first letter is always sent at the time of subscription (as soon as the email address of a new reader falls into your database), the rest of the letters - as you wish.

The main advantage of followups is their complete autonomy. They actually earn money while you sleep, converting your readers into buyers . You write letters and set up only once, and then everything happens by itself.

But in order for everything to work as it should, and even bring in money on autopilot, a lazy marketer must temporarily turn into a very hardworking marketer!

So, what do we need?
