How to perform clustering manually

Post by mehadihasan123456 »

First, you need to make an assumption about which words are similar and can be in one cluster, and then enter them into the search one by one and compare the TOP-10 organic results for the queries. If most of the ads for two queries match, then the queries can be combined into one cluster.

Example: we collected several queries with similar meanings - "rent an excavator", "rent an excavator loader", "rent an excavator price", "rent an excavator cheap". We enter the queries one by one in the search engine and line data check whether the organic results really match them. We do not take into account advertisements.

The search engine shows us roughly the same sites: grp12.ru, palarmstroy.ru and others. This means that these keywords can be combined into one cluster, for example, let's call it "excavator rental".

Additionally, we look at the frequency for each keyword using the “Word Selection” service from Yandex - which query is the most popular, and which wording users use less often.
