Patiya (Chittagong) to Selim Chowdhury: In protest against the vandalism of Sheikh Hasina's office at the Dhanmondi Awami League central office in Dhaka, a huge protest procession was taken out on the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar highway at Patiya municipal headquarters on Sunday afternoon under the leadership of former Patiya Upazila Jubo League general secretary and upazila Awami League leader Md. Jamir Uddin, organized by the Awami League, Jubo League, Volunteer League, Shramik League, and Chhatra League.
Later, a protest meeting was held at Patiya Police Station intersection. The chief guest was Patia Upazila Awami League leader Jamir Uddin, former general secretary of Patia Upazila Chhatra League Palash, municipality country email list volunteer league leader Md. Saiful Azam (Rulen), upazila Jubo League member Abdullah Al-Mamun, Saifuddin, former president of Patia Municipality Chhatra League Iqbalur Rahman Opel, Jubo League leaders Md. Shafi, Faizal Shakib, municipal Sramik League president Khorshed Alam, organizing secretary of Patia Government College Chhatra League Humayun Kausar Asad, motorist league leader Rabiul Hossain Apel, municipal Chhatra League joint secretary Istiak Bappi, municipal Jubo League joint secretary Md. Shahinul Islam Shahin, Shouhrar Hossain Chowdhury, district Chhatra League leader Mobash^r, municipal Jubo League leader Suman, district students' league leader Shahnawaz, municipal Jubo League leader Shimul Others.
Speaking as the chief guest at the meeting, Awami League leader Zamir Uddin said that whoever vandalized the meeting leader's office, no matter how powerful, should be found and brought under the law by the law enforcement agencies, and he strongly demanded the arrest of BNP leader Amir Khasru Mahmud.
