This means that Grupo Modelo beer brands such as Modelo, Corona and Pacifico will then be owned by Constellation Brands in the U.S. However, AB InBev retained control of Modelo's operations outside the U.S. Today, Grupo Modelo remains a central part of AB InBev's global beer empire, with its brands continuing to perform strongly in the Mexican and international markets.
