GGoogle has once again broken our mould. The dreaded toxic links might not be as damaging to our website as we thought. What's more, Google's Disavow Tool might be close to disappearing.

Google already ignores these links automatically
These questions came to light following a question from a user on X, who was looking for an answer to whether it was really worth continuing to use Google's disavow links tool to remove spam links pointing to his website. John Mueller , Senior Search Analyst at Google, spoke out in response to this question .

Mueller explained that it can make sense to use the tool bangladesh number data manually (by giving Google a list of URLs or domains that point to your site and you want it to ignore) if you think you might be the victim of a dangerous action, but that Google actually tends to ignore these toxic links outright . This would mean that the search engine would not take into account spam links that it detects as coming from suspicious websites, automatically disavowing them .

« In particular, the disavow link tool is not something you would ever need on a regular basis. I would consider it a huge red flag if any SEO tool reported on “toxic links” and suggested that you need to clean them up regularly – that has been wrong for many years. Don’t fall for it ,» Mueller said.
