Enthusiastic employees at the forefront
With examples from other organizations, colleagues were inspired about the new e-mailing, meetings and collaboration. They came up with application methods for their own work and the added value of a social intranet for daily work activities. Participants who were convinced after a session of the idea that it can be done differently, formed our vanguard. They created the first examples on the social intranet to be set up.
Discovery: Departmental needs often coincide
The inspiration sessions also made it clear that there was indeed every reason to connect departments. Because despite the differences in work between the care and staff departments, many needs in practice are the same. Each department can serve as an example for another.
Application: internal coordination and consultation
Take the Intensive Care department. They used the social intranet directly for internal coordination and work meetings. To this end, they set up their own closed group for the people in the department. In addition, they started various public groups with information for the rest of the hospital. In these, they posted news, articles and information about the Intensive Care department. It is also the place where colleagues can go with questions. This structure makes the social intranet valuable not only for the Intensive Care, other departments have since copied this method.
Pioneering leads to good examples and inspiration
When the first ten departments had formed their groups in this way and started working with them, we got more and more good examples to inspire new departments. In the meantime, hundreds of colleagues had also become acquainted with the advantages of the new intranet. They were ambassadors and sources of information for the rest of the colleagues.
Launch: 3000 colleagues on ReinierNet
At the end of May 2013, we launched ReinierNet ( the name of the social intranet) for the entire organization. From that moment on, over three thousand colleagues were able to find information, share knowledge and connect with colleagues.

Situation after one year
Now, almost a year later, we consider the introduction of ReinierNet a success. Every week new departments, workgroups and projects are added that use the intranet.
Number of visits: almost 14,000
Number of pages viewed: almost 340,000
Number of active groups: 343 (31 new in March)
Visit duration: almost 5 minutes per visit
Most popular part; who's who (face book)
Number of contributions: over 8,500 (1,400 new in March)
Number of searches: over 8,500 (declining trend due to increasing awareness of available information)
Mainly an interactive tool
We see that employees use the intranet not only as a place to send armenia mobile phone number list but also as a means of interaction. ReinierNet has become a place where news from outside the organization comes in, where employees find protocols and forms and share their own stories.
Communication can give away control
An advantage of the social intranet is that every employee can post a message on the home page. If the employee adds the keyword 'organization-wide', the message can be read by everyone on the home page. No communications department can stop that.
Own responsibility
Everyone has the opportunity and responsibility to present their own information and to facilitate the conversation with employees of their own and/or other departments. The communication department is only responsible for placing corporate news on the homepage, community management and further development.
