We are constantly working on expanding our backlink database, so we decided to research our competitors.

We conducted extensive internal testing to decide which are the strongest backlink markers on the the first quantitative analysis study with you.

We embarked on a study of Semrush’s backlink database against other competitors’ suites. We relied on 10,000 random domains and collected backlink data from each of them using the following tools:

Semrush;
Ahrefs;
Moz;
Majestic.
Of the 10,000 domains selected, 33% have less than 1,000 backlinks, 34% have japan mobile database between 1,000 and 100,000 backlinks, and 33% have more than 100,000 backlinks. The data was collected in February 2021.

With this base, we compare the links indexed in these four referring domains and backlinks tools to get a more complete idea of ​​the quality of the database.
