Telephone acquisition is still the first choice for many companies in sales. Telephoning often replaces a face-to-face meeting and is time and cost efficient.

Unfortunately, telephone acquisition does not only have advantages. The disadvantages are particularly serious if you do not know the person you are talking to and have never met or spoken to them in person. Without gestures and facial expressions, it is simply much more difficult for us to assess the person we are talking to.
