I have to document the deletion?!

Post by Mitu100@ »

I read that I also have to document data deletions. How can I do that as a sole proprietor?

Actually, this is a paradox.

To make a documentation of something that should no longer be there.

Deleting data means destroying data, i.e. data that is no longer needed.

The question here is always which data storage device is being deleted. Hard drives and other hardware can be documented. Individual dominican republic telegram screening data records are more difficult to record.

What is the reason for the deletion? Is it within the scope of the rights of the data subject? Then I can document the letter requesting the deletion of the data. In many cases, software is also equipped with a logging function. That would also be an option.

Help preparing for the GDPR ?
Thank you very much for your answers, Jasmin. This has made things clearer to me and my readers. Can you continue to support us? Do you also offer individual help in preparing for the GDPR ?

No problem! Of course, I support companies and self-employed people to become ready for the GDPR . I advise on individual topics, support data analysis, the inclusion of technical and organizational measures, create documentation such as overviews of processing activities, data processing contracts, data protection guidelines, IT security guidelines and help answer customer inquiries.
