Imagine the following situation:

Everything is quiet, everyone is engrossed in their book.

After a while you stand up and shout:

"NOW EVERYONE SHUT UP!"

What will happen?

Some students wake up and are torn from their daydream and back to reality.

The librarian puts on her glasses, pulls her baton out from under the table like a Texas kiosk owner pulls out his shotgun, and goes hunting.

Everyone else closes their books, fixes their gaze on you and waits anxiously to see what is about to happen.

Copywriting that is completely counter-intuitive stands out
Say:

What is the fastest, safest and most effective way to get noticed instantly?

Look around at what everyone else is doing - and do the opposite.

You stand out like an anti-mask person who goes shopping without a mask in 2021.

According to Ad Age Magazine, VW published the best advertisement of the 20th century by deviating from the norm and doing the opposite of what everyone else was doing.
