We reached out to the professor for an updated quote on the subject. The professor shared his new interior room designs for Alzheimer's patients that were perfectly aligned with our client's main e-commerce focus, "Interior Lighting."
We did some additional research (including keyword research) to identify what ranking we wanted the asset to be so that more bloggers and journalists could discover it.
Also, before we started working on the actual australia number data , we tracked down all the journalists and bloggers who had written about the deleted interview. We also identified other key influencers who were covering the topic (sticking to our specific angle, like Alzheimer’s disease). We compiled a list of Twitter followers and started engaging with them so we could familiarize our team with them before we reached out to them.
Thus, when we started working on the original content asset, we knew:

Specific attachable asset subject
The expert(s) we were able to include in our content.
The bloggers and journalists we were going to reach as soon as it went live.

By the time we started our real outreach, we had two strong advantages:
