I read at least 30 minutes every day

And finally, measure. It's very nice to measure. If you don't measure, you don't know. If you don't measure, your brain doesn't pay attention to the subject. So measure the number of steps you take each day. You can do it with a smartphone. That's what I did for a long time. The smartphone is in your pocket, and every time you have it in your pocket, it tells you the number of steps you've taken.

But I found it more practical to have the watch I told you about earlier, because sometimes you don't have a smartphone and it doesn't measure. So having a watch allows you to measure your steps and it's only by measuring and tracking, likewise, you put a little cross on a sheet when you've succeeded, that you can really put this habit in place. For me, it's been more than 600 days today that I haven't walked less than 6 kilometers. Again, I've always walked more. I'm at an average of 9 kilometers per day.

But the important thing is to track and say to yourself: "It's been 600 days now, more than 600 days, that I haven't walked less." For you, it will be a little less, because you have to start somewhere, but in fact it reinforces the habit and makes you want to never stop. And you'll see that if you do it little by little, it will be easy.

Third habit:

So you can read to relax or you can read to learn, it doesn't really matter. But the thing to keep in mind is that there is not a single problem that you encounter in your life that has not russia whatsapp number data already been solved by someone. Whether it is a personal problem, a work problem, a technical problem, an emotional problem, a problem in your family, it doesn't matter, whatever the problem that you encounter, this problem, it has already been solved by someone. And there is a good chance that this someone has written a book with the keys that will help you solve this problem yourself.

Our ancestors compiled all their knowledge in books, so why not take advantage of it. There is a quote that I have been repeating over and over for the past 10 years, because I love it, it is from Mark Twain, the famous American writer, who said: "He who does not read has no advantage over him who cannot read", and he was right.

So how do you implement this into your life?

Again, it's simple and we follow the same process as for the previous two habits. We start by setting a goal. It can be a number of pages or a time. I think that the number of pages, by the way, is perhaps easier to follow than the time. But the idea is to set a goal and say: "Every day, I read at least 10 pages or 20 minutes or 30 minutes, whatever."

Then, take every opportunity. One of the reasons I like the Amazon Kindle app… I know some people don’t, but whatever… is that I can read anywhere. I have the Kindle app on my iPad, so I can read on a large format, I have it on my smartphone. If I have to wait in line for 5 minutes at the store, I can read. If I’m in the doctor’s waiting room, I can read. It’s synced, so you can always pick up the location of the book that you’re on, but it allows you to read anywhere.

If you prefer paper books, which I did for a long time, well you can take it with you. For a long time, if I went to a doctor, I had my book in my hand, I was always with a book. And that's the only way to read well and read a lot, is to always have a book available.

Another little tip is to read right before bed. It allows you to relax. If you read to learn, it allows you to reinforce what you have just read, although I would tend to recommend fiction before bed. If I read too much non-fiction before bed, my brain goes in all directions, because I think about what I have just read. But the idea is perhaps to read fiction to relax, in the evening. Obviously, don't force yourself, read what you like. If you don't like a book, don't read it. It's super important. Reading should be a pleasure.
