Types of site transfers

Post by kexej28769@nongnue »

There are many types of site migrations. It all depends on the nature of the changes.
Another example of a poor site migration — no signs of recovery after 6 months!

In fact, it is entirely possible to migrate from HTTP argentina number data to HTTPS without losing that much traffic and for that long, except for the first few weeks where there is a lot of volatility as Google discovers new URLs and updates search results.

Examples of successful site migrations.
What does a successful site migration look like? It largely depends on the type of site migration, the objectives, and the KPIs (more on that later). But in most cases, a successful site migration exhibits at least one of the following characteristics:

Minimal loss of visibility during the first few weeks (short-term goal)
Then increase visibility - depending on the type of transfer (long-term goal)
The following visibility report was taken for a site migration from HTTP to HTTPS, which also resulted in a significant improvement in the site's page load times.

The following visibility report is from a complete site overhaul, which I was fortunate enough to be involved in several months in advance and supported during the strategy, planning, and testing phases, all of which were equally important.

Change to a subdomain or subfolder
It is very common in international SEO where a business decides to move one or more ccTLDs to subdomains or subfolders. Another common example is where a mobile site that sits on a separate subdomain or subfolder becomes responsive and both the desktop and mobile URLs are the same.
