The introductory lecture was given by Jan Tichý (SEO
consultant, analyst, MedioInteractive). The main idea of the lecture was
the question of what the world would look like without
search engines . Jan Tichý proved to be a good speaker and
explained in an engaging way (the example of the cargo cult) why to focus on building content on
social networks, blogs or discussion forums. Relevance and popularity
of websites go hand in hand, backlinks are receding.
However, building relevance and popularity requires linkedin database a clear plan and goals, preferably with the help of clients who have already
(consciously or unconsciously) changed the way they search for information. It is no longer search engines,
but social networks that rule the world…
The second speaker was Zdeněk Dvořák (Linki.cz)
with a lecture Dreams about linkbuilding .
Unfortunately, the opening part of the lecture was off-topic about
the present and future of SEO. Explaining to a professional audience how
the concept of links came about or how the function of links has changed is not entirely relevant. Fortunately,
the entire lecture did not look like this. Despite topics such as risk assessment and mind
maps , the speaker got to a more fundamental topic, which was the change
in the work of a linkbuilder. Zdeněk Dvořák newly described him as a market feeler that
monitors trends and news. By browsing websites, he looks for new topics, sees
customer problems and builds new relationships. In the new presentation, a linkbuilder is primarily
a salesman and a team member who actively participates in the overall business strategy.
