To find an answer to that, The Influencer Marketing Factory performed an analysis on 60 profiles of users who are active on both TikTok and Instagram Reels. And they looked at the performance.
The results show that users are enthusiastic about Instagram Reels because of its large audience reach. The total number of average views for TikTok was more than 1.19 million and for Instagram Reels 1.20 million. There are major differences in the number of views per follower. For example, the so-called view rate for Instagram Reels is 144% compared to 24% for the platform TikTok. But if you look at the number of likes, TikTok scores better than the function of Instagram (more than 231,000 likes compared to 110,000 likes).
