2 minutes — on average, that's how long it now takes to connect a third-party operator's number to the Virtual PBX directly from the UIS Personal Account. You can independently and quickly enter any of your own numbers in Russian Federation codes into our service — both mobile and landline. Numbers in foreign telegram codes list codes are still added a little longer through technical support, as it was before.

Why would you want to keep your number when switching to a new operator?
Our clients with similar experience have two arguments on this matter:

Of course, the number you add must have the technical capability to pass calls via the SIP protocol: check this with your provider in advance. They should also provide you with the login, password, and IP address of the SIP line for your number - you will need them for the settings.

Quick connection of your own number lives in the interfaces "Account" / "Number management" and "Virtual PBX / "Virtual numbers and rules".


Choose the desired way of number operation
Depending on the tasks, you configure the required option for using the connected number:

Outgoing calls at UIS rates (for landline numbers). You not only call from SIP lines at our rates through our communications center, but also use the full functionality of the Virtual PBX to process incoming calls, including call tracking. Forward calls to SIP, mobile and landline numbers of employees.
Outgoing calls at the rates of a third-party operator (for landline and mobile numbers). In this case, UIS does not provide communication services - call forwarding will go through your provider's SIP gateway. However, you can also use all the functionality of the Virtual PBX to work and manage calls.

When you select the first option, in the next step of the settings we check whether the number really belongs to you - a legal formality that is easily resolved. You only need to agree to the user agreement and enter the 4-digit code that the robot dictates during the automatic call.
