Last Sunday morning I walked my faithful four-legged friend. At the end of the Lissabonpad, near the Achterste Stroom, a car was parked in the ditch. Apparently someone had driven onto this forest path on Saturday night and had mistaken the ditch when turning around. The driver of the car had flown.
Secretly taking photos & videos
The owner was nowhere to be seen. The police had arrived by now. They were about to drag the owner from his bed. They wanted to check whether the man had gotten behind the wheel after one too many drinks.
Why am I telling you this? For a week now, I have been the owner of a Samsung Gear . A smartwatch with an inconspicuous built-in camera. I took a couple of pictures of the car from the wrist. One from far away. And one from up close. No one noticed a thing. I was just someone walking his dog and checking his watch as I passed by.

If someone is wearing Google Glass, you know that person can take a picture paraguay mobile phone number list or video of you. But if someone simply looks at the face of their watch, no one notices anything. I have written before that Google Glass is now generating a fair amount of resistance. Cafe The 5 Point , located in Seattle, posted a message on its Facebook page in March of this year announcing that it is forbidden to wear the digital glasses in the establishment.
“For the record, The 5 Point is the first Seattle business to ban Google Glasses in advance. And ass kickings will be encouraged for violators.”
Dave Meinert, the owner of the bar, said in an interview with local radio station KIRO-FM that 'the culture in the pub did not allow the glasses'. People come to the pub to enjoy their drink and food in complete anonymity and certainly not to be secretly filmed or photographed and then end up on the web with their names and names.
“People want to go there and be not known… and definitely don't want to be secretly filmed or videotaped and immediately put on the Internet.”
